The Bhima Balasahitya Award, instituted by Chaitanya, a charitable organisation, in memory of Shri. Bhima Bhattar, founder of Bhima Jewellers, has been awarded to Shri. K Rajendran for his book ‘RCC yile Atbutha Kuttikal‘ as the best work in children’s literature. Master M.M Kalidas has been awarded Smt. Swathy Kiran Samskarika Puraskaram for his book “Oru Ormapeduthal”as the best literary work(for children under 18 years). Shri.M.T Vasudevan was also honoured on his ‘Shatabhishekam’ at the same event. Shri. B. Girirajan, Chairman, Bhima Jewellers Group presided over the function.
